I have been teaching for 9 years. I began long term substituting in Newport News and that turned into a full time position teaching Algebra I, Computer Math, and Personal Finance at Menchville High School. In 2011, I transferred to Woodside High School, also in Newport News. At Woodside, I taught Algebra I and Cortez Algebra I. I was also a cheerleading coach at Menchville High School for 6 years, until I gave it up to move to Smithfield High School. I have been a class sponsor for numerous years and enjoy being involved in athletics and activities. I am married to my husband, Ryan and we have three wonderful, amazing boys. I am a baseball mom and my weekends are usually spent at baseball tournaments.
